Faculty Position in Cancer Biology

The University of Chicago's Ludwig Center for Metastasis Research (LCMR) in the Biological Sciences Division (BSD) invites applications for faculty positions from scientists at all levels with research interests in cancer and metastasis, broadly defined. Rank will be commensurate with accomplishments, with a primary faculty appointment within one of several departments in the BSD, the Department of Chemistry in the Physical Sciences Division (PSD), or the Institute for Molecular Engineering (IME). Candidates may also be proposed for secondary appointments in the University of Chicago Comprehensive Cancer Center (UCCCC) and other interdisciplinary research centers and institutes.

Applicants must have a PhD, MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent, and show evidence of significant research contributions and/or potential. We seek scientists with a record of independent and creative accomplishments who will establish robust and independently funded research programs, and who will interact successfully with colleagues within the LCMR, the UCCCC, across the University of Chicago, including the BSD, IME, and PSD. Senior-level investigators with demonstrated leadership skills and experience leading team efforts or building programs are especially encouraged to apply.
